Sheriff: Man Choked Girlfriend, Girlfriend's Child
DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. -- A Davidson County man held his girlfriend against her will for several hours on Saturday and choked the woman and her toddler, Davidson County deputies said.Deputies said they were called to a home on South Highway 150 after receiving a report that a child had been assaulted.After an investigation, Christopher Aaron Oliver, 27, was arrested and charged with kidnapping, assault by strangulation, assault on female and assault on child younger than 12.Deputies said that the victim told them that every time she would attempt to escape, Oliver would force her into a back bedroom.He was being held on no bail at the Davidson County Jail.
