Minor girl in King attacks police officers

Minor girl in King attacks police officers: "Officers from the King Police Department got more than they bargained for when they dealt with an alcohol-impaired 15-year-old recently. The young girl resisted detainment and assaulted the office..."

I PRAY THAT MY DAUGHTER NEVER GOES THROUGH THIS. THEY SHOULD USE THIS TO HELP KIDS IN THE SCHOOLS UNDERSTAND THAT ALCOHOL AND DRUGS ARE NOT GOOD. I HOPE MY TALKS TO MY CHILD WILL KEEP HER FROM WANTING TO EXPERIMENT.

Luke Skywalker and Jimi Hendrix would’ve been proud of this young man at Walnut Cove’s Fourth of July celebration. He used his light saber as a guitar during the musical segment of the show. As darkness fell, a spectacular fireworks display was put on by Hale Artificier, a company out of Lexington, NC. The event is paid for by the Town of Walnut Cove Events Budget.

Yes I did go to the hospital last night

Well my daughter put it on facebook so I guess I will go ahead and blog what happened. So yesterday I felt bad for most of the day. I had chest pains on and off and just felt kind of yucky. Well while driving to work the pain got worse and as soon as I got there all I knew is I needed to get into the building where Jimmy was. Well while walking to the building one of my sergeants asked me if I was ok and I said I was having really bad chest pains and he walked with me to medical and I got checked out by the nurses. Well me pulse was high and my blood pressure was out of the roof and they gave me a nitro pill because I left mine at home. so everybody made the decision that I needed to go to the emergency room. So Jimmy took me to the hospital and they hooked me up to all of this equipment and they put nitro paste on my chest and monitored me for a few hours. They said my cardio enzymes were good so they felt comfortable letting me go home. Now I have to go to a cardiologist tomorrow and get an evaluation and a stress test. No work for 5 days, nothing but rest so I have been ordered by my husband to take it easy and he doesn't have to worry about that because I am wiped out and very weak. They told me if my chest starts hurting to use the nitro and come back to the hospital if I need to.  So everybody just keep me in your prayers and I am going back to sleep. Love you all. Cat

I HOPE THEY GIVE HER SOME TIME IN JAIL FOR COVERING UP HER DEATH. EVEN IF THIS PRECIOUS CHILD DROWNED THE FAMILY SHOULD HAVE STILL REPORTED IT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT INSTEAD OF COVERING UP WHAT HAPPENED. IF IT WAS AN ACCIDENT THEN WHY DID THEY COVER IT UP? SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT AND THE FAMILY MEMBERS INVOLVED SHOULD STILL GO TO PRISON.

Joshua Rowley, 12, Dies In Water-Related Incident In Nebraska

POSTED: 1:51 pm EDT July 4, 2011
UPDATED: 2:05 pm EDT July 4, 2011
The son of a Forsyth County Sheriff's Office employee was killed in a water-related incident in Nebraska over the weekend.A spokesman for the department said Sgt. Jeremy Rowley was visiting relatives near Kearney on Sunday when his 12-year-old son, Joshua Rowley, died. The spokesman described the incident as a "water-related accident."Jeremy Rowley's stepson, Matthew McAlexander, 18, was critically injured in the same incident. McAlexander is receiving medical treatment in Kearney, officials said.

Please keep this family in your prayers. If you remember Jeremy was shot on November 11, 2004 and his father in law, Forsyth County Reserve Sergeant James Johnson was killed during this incident by Denny Booth. This family has been through a lot, so much that many people could not deal with this loss. Pray for the family and for Matthew to recover. This is a sad day. God bless this family.
