FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. -- Both directions of Highway 52 were blocked Wednesday morning by a crash involving a tractor-trailer hauling motor vehicles.
WXII photojournalist Chris Petersen said it appeared the tractor-trailer was headed northbound when it crashed through the guardrail and collided with a Honda Civic headed in the other direction.Police said the crash was reported at 9:20 a.m. near the Bethania Rural Hall exit.Officials said there were no injuries.Vehicles were diverted off the highway at Bethania Rural Hall Road and University Parkway.North Carolina Department of Transportation officials said the road was reopened to traffic by noon.
