33-Year-Old Arrested On Misdemeanor Simple Battery Charge

Jeanette Ramirez is accused of attacking another woman whose child she was looking after was squeezing a noisy toy.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Police said a South Florida woman was arrested at a Walmart after she attacked another woman who was looking after a toddler squeezing a noisy toy.Port St. Lucie police arrested Jeanette Ramirez, 33, of Lauderhill, earlier this week on a misdemeanor simple battery charge.Police said witnesses told them Ramirez hit the baby sitter, who was with the child.It wasn't exactly known what type of toy the child was playing with.
