WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The son of a Forsyth County Sheriff's Office employee was killed in a water-related incident in Nebraska over the weekend.A spokesman for the department said Sgt. Jeremy Rowley was visiting relatives near Kearney on Sunday when his 12-year-old son, Joshua Rowley, died. The spokesman described the incident as a "water-related accident."Jeremy Rowley's stepson, Matthew McAlexander, 18, was critically injured in the same incident. McAlexander is receiving medical treatment in Kearney, officials said.
Please keep this family in your prayers. If you remember Jeremy was shot on November 11, 2004 and his father in law, Forsyth County Reserve Sergeant James Johnson was killed during this incident by Denny Booth. This family has been through a lot, so much that many people could not deal with this loss. Pray for the family and for Matthew to recover. This is a sad day. God bless this family.
