Lindsay Lohan Stealing Jewelry? LiLo Suspected In Necklace Theft
Oh LiLo….Scandal-prone actress Lindsay Lohan is the prime suspect in a jewelry heist, police sources in Los Angeles tell TMZ.com and RadarOnline.com.
“Lindsay is being accused of stealing high end jewelry, including a necklace,” a tattle told RadarOnline shortly after Los Angeles Police petitioned a judge for a search warrant for Lohan’s Venice Beach home. “A search warrant was requested Tuesday at the Airport Court to search Lindsay’s house for the item of jewelry in question. Lindsay has been photographed and there is video of her wearing the jewelry she is accused of stealing,” the source said.
The phantom necklace, valued at $5,000, belongs to the owner of an Los Angeles store. She filed a report last week claiming the piece was stolen from her business. Word is, a store surveillance video shows Lindsay in the store, wearing the necklace before it disappeared from the upscale establishment.
On Tuesday evening, before cops could obtain a warrant, one of Lohan’s croonies turned the bauble over to cops. Authorities note, however, that the petitioner can continue to pursue criminal theft charges if they so desire. Lindsay, who was released from a fifth stint in rehab last month, remains on probation stemming from a 2007 DUI bust.
