A FUNERAL AND A THOUGHT!!!!

LOS ANGELES, CA - SEPTEMBER 18: Police office...Image by Getty Images via @daylife
Today I went to a funeral and as I went in and sat down, I was amazed how people acted during this time of grief. We sat in a area that we felt would be back from the crowd. All of a sudden there were people all around us. I hadn't been to church in awhile and I forgot that people have assigned seats in church. So I guess we were sitting in two older women seats because one of them turned around and gave us the evil eye. Then a lady came in and she reeked of moth balls. Then the family came in and the one of the older women got loud and said the daughter and the son hate each other.
During the ceremony, I sat there listening to the preachers talk and I thought to myself, "Is this it?" Is this all that is left for us when we pass. People coming out to a funeral, being hateful, talking bad about the family, bringing out those clothes that smell like moth balls and having someone tell your story to everyone in the crowd. Death should be a celebration of that persons life not a social event where people talk bad about others. Are people's feelings so corrupt that they don't actually feel anything anymore? I can only pray that when my time comes that people remember all of the crazy things that I have done and laugh at my oddness or my individualism. I guess if they don't then I guess it is their loss.

CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This woodpecker was saved from our fireplace just a few minutes ago by Jimmy and the maintenance man. Our fireplace is sealed off and we heard this bird pecking on the plywood. The maintenance man came over and they unsealed it and got the bird outside. The bird sat for a minute and finally took off to peck on another tree. Truly a Christmas miracle to save another one of God's creatures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOD BLESS THIS MAN!!
