40-Person Brawl Leads To Arrest
REIDSVILLE, N.C. --
Officers responding to a fight involving 40 people in a back yard on Circle Drive late Saturday night were assaulted by a man who used a baseball bat and rocks as weapons, Reidsville police said.Officers said when they arrived at the house, there were three groups fighting each other.When ordered to disperse, Timothy Jerome Clark, 40, began to yell for the officers to leave and began throwing rocks, police said. While attempting to arrest Clark, another man assaulted the officers with an unknown object, but eluded capture, police said.
