Town Official Hits Police Cruiser Outside King Flag Rally

Town Official Hits Police Cruiser Outside King Flag Rally KING, N.C. (WGHP) - An unmarked King police car suffered $1,000 in damage Saturday after police said the town manager of Walkertown hit it.

Officials with the King Police department said an officer told Scott Snow not to drive through a closed intersection, but he drove through anyway and ended up clipping an unmarked police vehicle.

The officer arrested Snow after he started driving away from the scene.

Snow, however, told FOX8 a different version of events. He said the officer gave him permission to drive through, and he started driving away because he had no idea that he had hit a car.

Snow was given a ticket after the incident. Snow said he will take care of it next week.

HE HAD NO IDEA THAT HE HIT A CAR! GIVE ME A BREAK YOU ALWAYS KNOW WHEN YOU HIT SOMETHING WITH YOUR CAR BECAUSE YOU WOULD HEAR IT OR FEEL IT. HE THOUGHT BECAUSE HE WAS A TOWN MANAGER FROM ELSEWHERE HE COULD DO WHAT HE WANTED TO. WELL I GUESS HE LEARNED THAT WE DON'T PLAY THAT HERE IN KING.
