THERE'S IS MY GABBY ON THE VERY END. I'M SO PROUD OF MY GIRL
Although West Stokes High School was recently featured as the champion of The Northwestern Regional Library Quiz Bowl on Feb. 5 in Mount Airy, two other Stokes County high schools participated. The other local teams were South Stokes and Stokes Early College High School who also traveled to the Andy Griffith Playhouse in Mount Airy. They joined eight other area high schools from Stokes, Surry and Yadkin counties. Each high school team is sponsored by a local public library of the Northwestern Regional Library.

Quiz Bowl is an academic team competition for high school students with questions in eight categories including science, math, literature, art, social sciences and philosophy as well as non-curricular topics and popular culture.
