LENIOR, N.C. -- Former NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield was indicted on four counts of felony larceny on Monday in Caldwell County. The charges are in connection with stolen trailers and stolen furniture.
Mayfield was also indicted last week in Catawba County on three counts of possessing property stolen from businesses, and a fourth charge of obtaining property by false pretense.Last year, authorities raided Mayfield's house and discovered about $100,000 worth of stolen items.In May 2009, NASCAR suspended Mayfield indefinitely for failing a random drug test.
